"Erin was my manager for over 2 years and working with her has changed my life for the positive. She has now been my mentor and guided my career since we first met in 2017. She’s a passionate and extraordinary person who is one of my strongest supporters in work and life.

She taught me to be more confident in my public speaking and made my everyday work-life so enjoyable.

I remember one day when Erin had convinced me to do my first telephone radio interview, even though I was very nervous and didn't want to do it. She sat beside me and encouraged me through the whole thing. When the interview was over my hands were sweating like crazy....but Erin was cheering and telling me I sounded confident.

Erin is always teaching and learning and working alongside her was a great pleasure. I only hope to work with Erin again in the near future!”

Abluqta Society

“I have had the good fortune to work with Erin since 2016. She inspired the development of our Abluqta “Step Forward” Society, Thrift Shop/Food Bank Social Enterprise. She has been determined from day one, organizing, asking questions, encouraging local Inuit to get involved, build their capacity. Together we have found new ways to provide for those who are hungry in our community.

She has written proposals, identified funding and led the development of our online communications—bringing in donations from far and wide, including two industrial sewing machines that travelled all the way from Ottawa.

Without Erin’s efforts, our society simply wouldn’t exist today. She’s been the mainstay of the society by keeping members a cohesive group, even from 1200 miles away.”

Adorit Boutique

“I’ve known Erin for 12 years, since she moved to Ottawa from Taiwan. In all that time, she’s been a strong supporter of me and my business —which is a boutique focused on sustainable fashion— in Ottawa’s by-ward market. Almost a decade ago, she wrote website content for me, telling the story of who I am and why I started my business.

She recently also helped me to develop my first resume in many years highlighting all of my skills and experiences. With this, I hope to get more motivational public speaking and teaching events around women’s leadership, entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability.

I even got to travel up North with Erin to assist the Abluqta Society in Feb 2019. During this trip, we built recycled shelving out of wooden pallets, taught a sewing workshop and installed a living wall so that they can begin to grow their own food. Together we worked 12-hour days and Erin was positive and enthusiastic the whole time. It is a pleasure to work with her.”

and Technology Consultant

"I had the privilege of working with Erin as our organization launched our first fully digital Entrepreneurship program in Nunavut. She provided weekly goal-setting coaching to our participants and curriculum support to my team. Her sessions with our participants were motivating and essential for them to stay on track, especially during the turbulent times of 2020.

Erin approaches every project and idea with empathy and an open ear, focusing not just on the immediate benefits of a program but also the potential longer-term impacts to the people we work with and their communities. At any point where my focus was drifting from that impact, she was there to remind me about the meaning and goals of our work. Our engagement lasted only a few months, but I’m certain and hopeful that we will be able to collaborate again in the future."
